Professional Memberships

Since 1972 KACE has been the only professional development association dedicated to creating leaders in aging services. The following programs are specifically designed to support adult care executives in navigating healthcare and regulatory challenges, while also fostering professional growth to ensure you’re well-equipped to deliver high-quality care and lead your team with confidence.

Education

KACE offers educational programs designed to help Administrators and Operators function within the complex and ever-changing long-term care profession. KACE education programs are approved for CE credit hours that count towards adult care home administrator and operator licensure renewals. KACE members receive a discount on education registration fees.

Resource Services

KACE’s Resource Nurse has over ten years’ experience in long-term care regulation and is available to assist KACE members with their survey-related needs. KACE members have access to the following optional services.

Survey related services include:

Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) Review
Immediate Jeopardy Removal (abatement) plan reviews
Past Noncompliance/Self-Reported Investigation Support
Plan of Correction (POC) Reviews
Resident Focused Reviews

In addition to survey related services KACE Resource Services include over 20 In-Service and Management Webinars, which can be viewed here.

Publications

KACE offers timely updates through daily email and a bi-monthly newsletter to educate and inform members about the changing long-term Care landscape. Updates focus on CMS regulatory updates, licensure requirements, the survey process, and novel developments within the field.

Advocacy

KACE works to promote a positive image of Administrators and Operators while demonstrating your commitment to provide the highest quality care for Kansas residents. KACE represents Administrators and Operators with state agencies and elected officials on relevant industry issues.

Networking

KACE provides members with the opportunity to build connections and enhance professional development through an exchange of ideas and strategies with other Administrators and Operators who understand the challenges you are facing, and with suppliers of products and services to the long-term care industry.

Retired Member - $95.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments A KACE member who has retired from a Kansas adult care home and is not working as a full-time interim administrator and is 65 or older is eligible for a retired membership.
