    The KACE Administrator-In-Training (AIT) Pre-Test Seminar is facilitated by our AIT Program Coordinators. This course will help AITs prepare for the State and the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrators Boards (NAB) Exams. The goal of KACE’s preparation course is to help the AIT successfully pass the national and state exams

    and to help the AIT be the best Administrator possible!


    This course is offered quarterly. 


    The Zoom link and materials needed for the course will be sent out

    the day before the course.


    The seminar is free for KACE AITs, and $200 for AITs in other programs.

    Two primary objectives of nursing facility management are 1) to provide quality care to residents and 2) to monitor labor, retention and recruitment. To successfully manage these areas, it is critical for a nursing facility to understand the financial condition of their organization and their underlying financial information.  A budget is a key component to the operations as a facility must control expenses to remain viable.  Additionally, a facility’s expenses in one year generally impacts the future Medicaid rate.  This session will provide an opportunity to gain financial knowledge of a facility’s operations and how a budget can be used to manage and control expenses.

    Direct Health Care expenses can have a significant impact on a provider’s Medicaid rate.   A provider’s management and oversight of direct health care expenses can have a positive or negative impact on the financial condition on the organization, as well as influence the public’s perception of the provider.  This session will provide an overview of the Direct Health Care expenses relative to Kansas Medicaid nursing facility reimbursement, including which expenses comprise the direct health care cost center and how various factors impact the direct health care cost center and the Medicaid rate.

    We are very excited to welcome back our vendor partners to be part of the KACE 51st Annual Convention. Each year the annual KACE Convention is attended by nearly 200 adult care executives. KACE Convention attendees are decision makers who order goods and services from the best associate business partners working in long-term care. As a KACE Convention Vendor you will have access to the conference attendees for 2 vendor show days, a luncheon with the attendees, and a reception with the attendees. All vending locations are in close proximity to all conference education.

    Electricity is Available:

    Cancellation Policy:


    • 85 percent refund prior to two weeks before convention. No refund after that time.


    Deadline for Booth Space Registration is August 1, 2023

    The Wichita Marriott is a beautiful facility, which is very well suited to the needs of our Convention attendees and vendors.


    Reservations:
